My Job seeking Experience awashed in entrepreneurial development!

I have stayed in Sweden for a few years now and think it is time to write about my experience to help other immigrants out there.

Before 2014, I had not actually settled on the fact that I wanted to be my own boss. I graduated from one of Sweden's prestigious universities (University of Gothenburg) and immediately registered as a job seeker with the Swedish Public employment Service. All I could think of was gaining employment in a prestigious company with the intention of working hard to attain my dreams. Unfortunately things did not work out as planned due to mitigating circumstances which led me into exploiting my entrepreneurial skills with the option of starting my own company here in Sweden.

As a registered jobseeker with (Arbetsförmedlingen), I was opportuned to meet two members of the esteemed Lund-Kluster Rotaryklubb ( a subsidiary of Rotary International) who sought mentees for their newly started mentoring programme. The aim was to help with networking or help the selected job seekers start their own companies. Interesting isn't it? I was chosen after an interview and immediately assigned a mentor who happened to be one of the main advisors at NyföretagarCentrum Lund. He later introduced me to his colleague for advise regarding marketing. With the help of this group and NyföretagarCentrum, I was able to come up with my fantastic company name which immediately gives one an insight into what my company is all about! I also got help with choosing a logo, company homepage structure/design, product advice...
